What
is sin?
Sin is best defined as not doing what God expects of us. |
| Step 1 |
Admit that you are a sinner |
"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23 |
| Step 2 |
Understand the consequences of sin |
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 6:23 |
| Step 3 |
Understand the love of God |
"But God demonstrates His own love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Romans 5:8 |
| Step 4 |
Accept the sacrifice of Christ by believing in your heart and confessing with your mouth |
"That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation." Romans 10:9-10 |
